Technical Workshop: Corrosion Management in the Oil & Gas Industry
Belzona to host a technical workshop on Thursday 11th June 2015 in Central Paris, France. This technical workshop will feature:
• Internal corrosion protection of process vessels and tanks including the complete solution to protect the shell, small bore nozzles and flange faces.
• External protection of pipework and vessels including solutions for corrosion under insulation, flange encapsulation and pipe repairs.
The event is targeted at the engineers and managers representing asset owners, engineering design houses, contractors, fabricators, as well as inspectors. The presentations will be supported by third party test reports and case studies highlighting projects after many years in service. Both brownfield and greenfield applications will be showcased, covering the upstream and downstream sectors.
An independent guest speaker is set to highlight the importance of project management to minimise application risk. This presentation will cover the significance and responsibilities of all parties involved, from the asset owner and the design house down to the vessel fabricator and inspection parties, including coating manufacturers and the contractor.
